if the end of love is this hard. i would never love again. never again.

lots to say..

okay. shall report the time now.. it's 1.15am. (jocelyn sure say sleep late = old.. hahaha...)

i am going to blog alot alot today.. =)

gonna be busy this week. this week, is school term holiday (that's on the surface) for a week.

today. is a healthy day. or should i say keep fit day. gee.. =p

strange enough, i am reaaaaaaal energetic. *hyper* ^-^

well, shall try not to be too random. control. gonna start from the morning.

woke up late. serve me right for sleeping late for dunno what reason. ha. anyway, went to kaiting's house for assignment meeting. as usual, did not do much. mostly is kaiting and jocelyn doing the brain work while i do the manual work.
すみません. but i suppose overall, there were some work done before we left in the evening. right? hee. =p well, let me talk a little about kaiting's house. one word. awesome. maybe another. super clean. haha.. like me, she is one soft toy lover. but the difference is, mine need a shower. haha. *bleahz* well, here's a picture of my lovable soft toys on my bed... =)

ok, after the meeting, i met daphne for kickboxing class. well.. i suppose i can't differentiate between my abs and back. *duh* basically we were suppose to feel a strain on our abs, which shows we are doing it right. but i didn't. felt it on my back instead. it sucks that i cannot do it right. sigh.. what a waste.. but it is okay. one day i will get it right.. had mos burger for dinner. yeah. sinful. after exercising hard and there i am, having fast food. but it is okay. because after dinner, both of us went to play the bball arcade game. we did well.. haha. managed to reach stage 3. i think is a good job. haha. hmm.. daphne is always so good to me. for agreeing to accompany me play the bball game. thank you daphne.... *smile. besides the bball game, we also played the mario kart game. yeah. we are both behaving like kids. well.. i suppose is me. daphne is just accompanying me. haha.. =)

it's okay. it is really okay. angry will have wrinkles de. so dun be.. promise? =)

okay.. here comes the why izzit healthy? well, despite having the sinful dinner, but at least i did some "exercise" - the bball game. maybe not counted..but still... hee.. in addition, i climb the stairs all the way up to my house. surely this is some tedious exercise. steps you know. ha.. weird enough, i wasn't a least bit of tired then. now as well.. in fact, at this time, 1.30am, i am still feeling energetic. yeah. level up. haha.. Zzz...

this week.. couple of things for this week. have to be a good sister. a good daughter and do up the housework. mummy currently overseas. daddy, no comment. brother, doing his part too. at least be home to cook dinner one of the days for my brother and myself. can't remember when did i last cooked. well.. but i remembered that cooking only taste nice when i feel like cooking. anyway...... this week would be okay. yup. it would be. =)

oh. i uploaded a new playlist. my bro was playing the songs whole of yest. got me real emo. gee.. haha.. nice songs... soothing.. thus, hope to share.. and hopefully it will entertain some of ya who do read my blog.. ^-^ during this time.. for the time being.. (talking nonsense again.. dun mind. dun mind.. =p )
well, not forgetting the two songs that was featured in the movie "koizora".. yeah. that show kept me going.. =.= nonsense again. haha.

gee.. 1.50am. what is taking me so so soooooo long..

wide awake. gotta start researching for my senior.

march ended. it was a good month. yeah. *filter* i choose to believe it is.

i suppose that is all. do takecare people... and be happy. happy happy happy =)
*contagious enough? haha.. =p
tc..

i can't differentiate weekdays and weekends. to me, is not much of a difference. so weird. hmm..

saturday did not feel like a saturday. spend the whole day at home. because it was parent's communication day and i am not involved. david was having high fever so tuition was cancelled. decided i shall just stay home and have some time for myself. had a horrible dinner. didn't know when did "X" brand noodle taste so so so bad!! such torture to have such a horrible meal when i had so little for lunch. sigh. anyway.. helped my senior do some research in the evening, watched a couple of episodes of naruto. slept early last night. rather early. about 1am...

sunday.. bought lunch for my mum and myself. on the way back, the sky was clouded with dark clouds. the wind was really strong. suddenly felt relaxed and in the mood for holiday. somewhere to escape. a place that is solely nature. the sea or beach or mountains or a place that can see lavenders. =)

whole week of events

just finished my social psy blog assignment. lately been very busy. going home late and such. got home early today. but, no one was home. when i am home early, no one at home. when i am home late, everyone is asleep. well.. in conclusion, we are a busy family.

watched sky of love again. it is really a nice movie and i would not mind watching it several times except that the movie tickets are getting more and more expensive. had an advanced celebration for kaiting's 21st birthday. she treated us to boardgames and dinner at mind's cafe, dhoby gaunt. Really fun to be able to be out with them. Though halfway through i wasn't feeling quite well. sorry kaiting..

had a full day of lesson on wednesday. jocelyn's dad gave us a ride to serangoon and i took the bus home. but nevertheless, i still slept rather late. no idea why.. Zzz.. my mum kept using this to say i am looking older and uglier. sobx. ok. ugly is not the word she used. but her main purpose is to ask me to sleep early. hmm..

thursday.. met daphne and jocelyn. went to my favourite hideout to study. no idea why i just simply love that place. no matter what. i dun mind going there often. love to travel. the other place that i love to go would be expo-coffee bean =) met grace in the evening. her birthday is around the corner.. =) had sakae sushi. her treat. and mos tea. time flew. both of us didn't realised it was almost midnight. lucky i caught the train. can't imagine if i took a cab. i was told cab are very expensive now. the fares could reached up to $30!!

had lesson today as well. went to the national library with jocelyn to research on materials. not sure if i will be able to motivate myself to study during my term break next week. got a lot of readings to catch up. despite saying i will be hardworking this semester. but still, i procastinate. it happens to most people right?? hmm.. anyway, next week going to be a busy week. with meetings for projects. search for my cognitive neuro textbook cos desmond just got a call from the bookshop saying the current edition was totally wiped out and the new edition will not come until june. exams would be over by then.. really need to get that textbook. last resort, look for seniors. but i know none. hmm.. it's okay. surely can find the book somewhere. somehow.

hmm.. i suppose that's all. oh. happy belated birthday to kaiting. happy advanced birthday to grace. sorry to the gals. i had been giving attitude problem. but i know sorry wun help. but still, i am trying.

translation:

I turn off the time to wake up before the alarm clock ressounds
I don't know why but I can already remember you

I wonder if, before I know it, I'll forget
even the miracle of being able to meet you for one hundred minutes
Will I end up forgetting even that I've forgotten?

Heavenly days, in the room in the pocket of my heart
I look for your vanished warmth
Even if there's no way to feel you ever again, ah
I'm locking up those days that are still a bit warm

Tired of walking, I sat down and was at a loss, if you were with me
We could have talked about something like our unbearable dream's fate

I couldn't say it by the ticket barrier, I wanted to say
That I feel "Thank you" are maybe words
much sadder than "goodbye"

Heavenly days, I wonder if I could smile properly
At the scene of our last kiss, I couldn't even
grasp your shivering hands, not even my tears fell, ah
Now that it's too late, they overflow when I'm alone

Heavenly days, in the room in the pocket of my heart
I look for your vanished warmth
Even if there's no way to feel you ever again, ah
Even if I stretch out my hands, you're not here anymore
I'll walk on under a new light

dun really get the lyrics. but, just listening to the song is enough to let me think about the movie le.. sobx.

now, what did i do today.. woke up late. yah. again. my dad scolded me.. sigh. gotta face the teachers too.. i deserved it bah. woke up late.... anyway, went to work at kumon. gave my first tuition to a kid also attending kumon. he is 5 years old. not local. needs help in chinese. is quite a tedious job because the teachers were saying that the kid's mum is rather demanding. indeed she is. kinda. but is for the kid's benefit. but i am really stump as to how to teach him. really have to rack my brain. but finally i can give stickers le!! haha..

met daphne after tuition. she was so nice to meet me last minute. jocelyn was also very nice to call and talk to me while i waited for daphne.. both of us took turns to talk to jocelyn on the phone while i do some of my school stuffs.. =) had a late dinner and decided to go to the arcade after dinner as all the shops were closed by the time we finished dinner. haha.. played my favourite game!! the bball game. both of us were quite dangerous. over/underestimating our strength. =p both of us also played another game.. dunno what izzit call. is the one with the table and we have to try to score points by hitting a disk into the opposite side.. hmm.. hope i made sense. last game for the day was the motorcycle race. debated between the mario game and that. but as there were people playing the mario kart, thus we ended up at the motorcycle game. think the last time i played that was like sec school.. with grace.. had a back to "when i was younger" days. thank you for the company gals.. =)

sky of love

went to watch "sky of love" with daphne yesterday. am really glad to be able to watch it. 2months ago before the movie was out, i was already attracted by the poster and i told myself i will watch the movie no matter what. did not regret watching it. turning back the clock to 3 years ago. recalling the times then.

synopsis of the movie,
Mika, the female lead in the movie experienced a change during her high school years. it was sad, painful but yet happy, memorable and most importantly, she experience how fortunate (幸福) she was when she met Hiro, the male lead in the movie. It all started off when she bump into Hiro at the walkway of the school just before their summer school holiday and that Hiro happened to find Mika's handphone and returned back to her without revealing his identity. During the whole of their holiday, they kept in contact just solely over the phone. Mika finally get to see Hiro when school re-opens. This was when both their romance started. During their courtship period, several unfortunate incidents happened to Mika. But Hiro was always there to protect her which gave Mika the confidence and trust towards Hiro. In the show, Mika had a miscarriage and both of them decided to mark that day and swear to visit the "grave" they gave to their unborn child. It was touching because the of the way he protected her, no matter what, and the love Hiro had for Mika was so great that upon knowing that he contracted a terminal illness, he did all he could to hurt Mika emotionally so that Mika can move on. Mika finally moved on but not knowing the truth of what is happening on Hiro's side. But when two person are meant to be, nothing can tear them apart. Upon knowing that Hiro had been hiding his illness from her, she went back to his side immediately and they both spend the rest of the time trying to catch back the lost time.

shall not continue further. but it is really a recommended show. funny, sad, heart-warming and it makes one feel peace. this show made me feel lots. bring back the memories, the beliefs and dream i once had. one do not have to experience it to know how exactly is to love and to be love. as well as how love could be so beautiful, innocent and simple. *dun sterotype me as a dreamland girl. am sure some would love an unrealistic love at certain point of time..

i will definitely buy the dvd as well as the book because it came from a real life story. will watch it the second time if time permits. a couple of songs in their OST are nice. but sadly to say, they are in japanese. will post it up when if i am able to find the translation. maybe the songs first...

romance, love stories in movies are eventually still hypothetical. how many can experience one unforgettable and everlasting one. how many can find their sky, the one that promises to look over no matter what. despite not able to see it in my closest ones. but surely there are some lucky ones out there. though it is not going to be me.. had my chance before. *weak smile.

maybe due to the show. getting a little emotional here... forgive me.
すみません. just for this time.

what is meant to be.. it means even after everything, after all the events.. both will be back to the familiar / original spot both once used to be. this can be seen in the movie. a more serious take would be, meant to be is only known when the day both die. then will it be confirmed.

love is not about pity. the movie said so too. love is about sincerity.

in the movie, in order for Miko not to feel upset and cry, Hiro choose to suffer in silence. But is he really that happy? he wasn't. neither was Miko. maybe to Hiro, he feels that, all that he did would eventually benefit her. but when both were upset, is it still considered worthwhile..? though they may be of different person, style and personality. but they overcome their differences and carry on the faith both had . i suppose if there is faith, things will work out well. plus, love do wonders and gives miracles.

many things were too late. too late in realization. too late to change. everyone were asked to learn and move forwards. study harder, work harder, live well... stay happy even when sad.

Mika said, if the ending for falling in love is so terrible, she would choose not to fall in love ever again.

getting sleepy.. my thoughts are getting random.

i have decided to block whatever i had typed in this paragraph. maybe i dunno how to express what i truly feel. but hopefully, one day. just one day you will get it and you will know it. or maybe some time later, i will re-post it. sigh...

contented. to be contented. remember to be contented.

finally finish my social psychology assignment. thanks to jocelyn for helping me. this is the 3rd week. but i haven't started to study for my modules. i anticipate this semester to end very soon because of all the datelines for our assignments seems to start from week 6 onwards. which is very very soon. by the time one realise. hmmm...

my face is in a bad state. *sad. not too sure why i suddenly started to have spots on my cheeks. sigh. maybe is because i have been sleeping late. well.....

anyway, results are out for last semester. quite shock with some of my friend's results. think last semester was really quite crap... on top of that, the wrong module and the wrong teacher make it worst.. this semester is going to be my last semester before i graduate from year 3. is a very important semester because the grades for this semester will determine whether we get into honors or the post grad dip. but personally i feel, even if one's grade make the criteria for honors, the competition is still too great to get it. taking into account the number of students "fighting" for a place as well as the number of teachers available to supervise. honestly, i do not have confidence seeing myself getting a place because of the intense competition. feel that everyone had been doing just as well or even better. well, shall just see how it goes i suppose.

today's class was supposed to be quite interesting. but i was rather sleepy head during the first part of the lesson. gee. well, people usually gets tired during the 2nd part of the lesson.. but ironically, i was rather wide awake during the 2nd part of the lesson instead. hehe. reason being, a classmate of mine that was sitting diagonally across my place was playing WOW. haha.. been some time since i seen this game. remembered that i wanted to buy the game too because it seems interesting. haha. but i suppose i enjoy seeing others play instead, just like when my brother used to play DOTA. thus, while listening to the lecture, i was also looking at the game too. haha. hmm.. well, not exactly looking. was glancing once in awhile. i am still listening to the lecture...... =p tml will be a long day for me.. sigh.. lessons from 9am - 10pm. tonight have to try to sleep early. define early? i dunno..

today isn't a really bad day.. had the opportunity to taste home cook food. it had really been a very very long time since i tasted home cook food. sigh... well.. i didn't include the time i had to cook on my own (but then again, is quite troublesome to cook for 1 person) and maybe cny. cos it was.....

anyway, i am contented for today. or should i say at this moment...

commissioning parade

the weather yesterday (sunday) was rather cranky. one minute the sun was out. the next moment it was pouring. once again, no one was home when i woke up. everyone are busy with their own stuffs. so am i. detached. i am being detached from the wrong thing.

spend the afternoon doing research but in the end, due to my carelessness.. all the hardwork was gone.

ok. enough of sad, no logic entry.

saturday was my brother's commissioning parade. am really very proud of him. after the long 9 months. he really is incredible to pull through all the obstacles. that day, i finally realised, my little brother is no longer the little brother that i would disturb and hug when i was still in primary school. he is all grown up and matured in thinking. dear brother. congratulations. am really proud and happy for you. you are strong. and i am all impressed with you. you are the best guy ever.. =)

bangkok

at last. my post on my recent bangkok trip (270208 - 020308). =)

my main purpose on the bangkok trip was to visit my friend in thailand, watch, as well as to go for a holiday getaway. am very glad that melissa was able to join me. the last time i met melissa was like one year back when she just returned from studies in australia. =)

well, we went to 2 countries during our 5 days trip. Thailand and Laos. both meli and i met up about 5.30 am at the airport as our flight was 6.10am. despite being tired, i just could not sleep on the plane. maybe i was too excited. haha... anyway, started taking photograph of the clouds halfway through the trip. they were so beautiful that it makes feel like reaching out to touch them. fluffy like cotton candy as though it will melt when you touched them. *grin. think i beginning to love the clouds and the blue sky (remembering the airshow). *note. not those dark clouds*

pictures of the clouds..

before dawn break

dawn break

morning

1st day..
when we reached the Suvarnabhumi airport, it was around 7plus am thailand time (which is 8am s'pore time). both of us were famished. thus, the first thing was to find FOOD!! haha.. we were so so hungry that we decided any where that has food will do and we even forgotten to take photos of our food which initially we kinda said we would. haha.. anyway, after breakfast, we started to tour around Suvarnabhumi airport as it was too early to go to Don Muang airport for our domestic flight to Udon Thani. basically, the first morning was more of a waiting for our flights and taking lots of photos of ourselves. haha.. and catching up with what happened during the past one year.. =) was really great..

below are some pictures we took at
Suvarnabhumi airport as well as at Don Muang airport:

Suvarnabhumi airport

Don Muang airport

met watch at Don Muang airport. was really excited to see watch. thus, when i suddenly shriek (kind of) when i saw watch, meli got a fright. she thought what happened.. haha.. sorrieee.. = 3 of us headed off to our first destination, Sala Kaew Koo at Nong Khai.. some backgrounds, it was constructed in 1978, also known as indian temple / "wat khak". Is a unique place with combinations of hindu deities sculptures etc... their main element is the 7 headed dragon. apparently, you can see lots of the 7 headed dragon on the streets of Nong Khai as well.. is a pity i could not read the wordings as it was in thai. but watch thot both of us some characters that represents numbers. meli is better at it. therefore, dun ask me now. i had already forgotten during my third day!! haha..

-pictures at Sala Kaew Koo-

the 3 of us..

our next stop is the Pho Chai Temple. background: it houses numerous statues of the Lord Buddha - luang por pra sai (there's a story behind it and it was drew out. good if u guys go and see it urself. =p). people would gather there during the Thai New Year period (also known as the Songkraw, if i ain't wrong is their water festival as well) period and Naga fireball festival. Just a side track. am quite fascinated about the Naga fireball festival which according to watch, happens around nov-dec. whereby a phenomenon of a fireball like object would shoot up from the Mekong river. but there is no exact explanation as to why. As the Pho Chai Temple was a sacred place, thus, no photos can be uploaded. =)

last stop before dinner was Tha Sadet Market. background: situated at Tha Sadet, a pier that crosses into the neighbouring country, Laos. sells imported goods from places such as Indochina, east europe etc. Think the pictures are more interesting than what i typed.. so... below are the pictures of the pier and the first gift i bought in thailand.. =)

-pictures at Tha Sadet Market-

it says, "welcome to tha sadet" (if i didn't remember wrongly..) =p

behind us is the country laos

i was looking forward to see the Thai-Lao friendship bridge as on the book, it looks beautiful during the night. but we were kind of in a rush to meet watch's family for dinner thus didn't had the chance to. hehe.. next time i suppose =) Had dinner at Kualao Restaurant. A restaurant that serves nice traditional thai food. lots of foreigners visit that place too!! =) out of all the dishes, i love the springroll. maybe because of the sweet sauce that we get to dip with it. haha.. could not take any pictures cos watch's family was with us. thot was quite ill-mannered. haha.. anyway, managed to take a picture w watch before her family arrived. *smile..

-picture of Kualao restaurant-

introducing.. the signboard. =p

outside Kualao restaurant

while waiting for dinner..

after dinner, meli and me checked into Don Chan Palace (name of our hotel). the hotel had a good view as it faces the Mekong river. it was also an expensive hotel. and we felt really bad when watch's dad want to pay for it. but many many thanks to watch and her family for the dinner, hotel and being such great hosts!!

2nd day..
watch met us after breakfast. our first destination was That Luang. it is the most famous landmark in Vientiane and i've seen some taiwan celebrity introducing the place. was said to be made of real gold. but think during the war, people went to pluck the gold out thus, during restoration they can only use gold paint to paint it.

-pictures of That Luang-

model of That Luang

next stop was the morning market. once again, we attempted to shop for stuffs. only managed to buy some. the place is known as a center for clothes, bags, shoes etc... which was made in Laos and imported from China and Vietnam. had lunch at an Italian restaurant - L'Opera. nice food. and it was located at a place that had a very European style. can imagine how is it like at night. with the fountain in the middle of the whole square. should be quite romantic bah.. well, once again, some photos to make u all hungry..

during the day... the fountain activates only at night

yummy cakes and cookies found in one of the shop.. =p

last and final stop before heading for coffee and massage was the Pratuxay. it was situated in the center of the city and was as high as 7 storey building. was modeled after the Arc de Triomphe in France. but was not fully painted because before they could finish, Laos declared independence from France. more details.. look at the picture below.. well, we climbed lots of stairs to just to have a view of how izzit like.

-pictures of Pratuxay-

noticed the unfinished workmanship?

the 3 of us at the highest level.. =)

had a nice cup of drink, can't remember what mine was. some hazelnut latte i suppose.. before heading for a massage. it was my first. and it was quite funny at the ending. i suppose i wun forget it.
one of the lady staff even asked if i was a local. haha.. btw meli, u said you would bring me to one in singapore.. dun forget.. haha..

outside the spa - LVCity

dinner was really really nice. i like the noodles, as well as their version of prata. meli love it too.. in the end, despite telling myself not to eat too much cos it was rather oily, i finished the last piece of prata. haha. =p

-pictures of our dinner-

something like "you tiao" their version of prata. (very nice)

dinner for e day - won ton noodles =)

3rd day..
last day in Laos.. took a picture of the hotel and the Mekong river before we leave for bangkok. the weather is always so cooling at Laos in the morning. unlike bangkok.. Zzz... =p half the day was gone due to the time we spend on travelling to Don Muang airport and the flight to bangkok. upon reaching bangkok, headed to our hotel - Grand China Princess. Had lunch at MBK, black coffee canyon and started our shopping spree.. haha..
maybe due to what i was wearing, some of the people there thought i was from japan or that i was a local. it was quite funny. now i seems to belong to many different country. =.=" anyway, the pictures below....

picture of the mekong river taken from our balcony

our hotel - Don Chan Palace

meli and i at MBK shopping center

4th day..
had breakfast in the morning. the food was so so nice that i can't stop eating.. Zzz.. before heading towards chatuchak weekend market, we went to walk about chinatown, which was very near the hotel we were staying. didn't take a lot of pictures at chatuchak as we were too busy shopping. haha.. the only bad thing about chatuchak was... they do not have proper changing room!! thus it was quite troublesome to try an outfit.. sigh.. by the time we left chatuchak, it was about 3pm.. all of us were so tired of walking that we do not feel that hungry. thus, we headed back to our hotel for a rest before going to "central world" in the evening for dinner at a jap restaurant which... i can't remember the name... did a little more shopping and called it a day.

the busy streets of chinatown

our yummy dinner - salmon set w kimchi =)

one of my favourite photo! - green tea ice cream w red bean

5th day..
our last and final day. we allocated the last day for some bangkok sightseeing. first stop was the floating market. spend quite some time waiting for the boat.. but it was really an experience.. the uncle drove so fast at first that we had water splashing on us. ok.. ain't that much.. but............ haha.. anyway, had our first try on having noodles on the boat, sanpan, i dunno what u will call it.. luckily we had watch who understood what the uncle was saying. thus, he was kind enough to intro us which stall sells the cleanliest food etc.. haha.. got to see how they made sugar from coconut.

-pictures at the floating market-

outside the floating market. seems quiet.....

the busy market..

vendors on the boat cooking..

my bowl of clear soup noodles.. yummy? =)

the driver in charge of driving around for that day brought us to some wood carving factory which meli and i was rather impressed. the way they carved the image. well, have a look for yourself..
next stop was the Thai Human Imagery Museum. had some small little dispute with the staffs there because if you ain't a local, you gotta pay 150baht more.. yup.. anyway, the experience was good. the images really looks as if it was real.

carve from wood..

welcome to thai human imagery museum

the previous kings in thailand..

the queen mother

as watch and her brother gotta head to the airport earlier than us. thus we said our goodbyes after visiting the grand palace. did not get to tour around as we were a little too late when we reached there. before leaving for the airport, meli and i took a quick tour at Plantinum mall. had ham crepe and takopachi which was very much cheaper as compared to singapore but not as nice the ones here. =) while waiting to board the plane, which arrived late, we started to entertain ourselves by taking a picture before we leave bangkok and back to singapore.. =)

map of the grand palace

one of the few buildings located in the grand palace

photos of both of us while waiting for our flight back to singapore...

had a great time with meli, watch and her brother. thank you meli for coming along. watch and her family for the great hospitality. my classmates, jocelyn, daphne etc.. for persuading me on the trip as well as being worried for me. for the rest of you guys, many many thanks as well.. if you were worried for me during my trip.
