airshow (tue - fri)

unexpectedly this whole week had been a pleasant week. =) went to kumon in the afternoon for work. spend the rest of my weekdays at the airshow. with amber and daphne. our job scope, counter registration.

we got to wake up real early every day (tue-fri) as the shuttle bus that took us to the changi exhibition center drives off at 6.45AM. yup. the first 2 days i was late. thus, resulting in my daddy having to rush. but luckily daphne and i make it in time on the last day, friday. haha.. at least out of the 4 days, my daddy do not had to rush for us so as to catch up with the shuttle bus.

on tuesday, 3 of us were basically sticking with each other. not really mixing around. the crowd came in about 11 plus, 12pm because the flying air display by the black knights and roulettes starts around that timing. thus, all the counters were busy / frantically trying to process their registration. *phew

2nd day of the airshow, wednesday. started talking to a few people. the crowd was just as much as the first day. some were younger than i do, some same age. wonder how they got their invitations from. because the first four days were solely for trade visitors. thus, no kids under the age of 18 were allowed to enter. neither do those males that wore bermudas. got to know a gal (younger than i am) - laura. she is from SP, doing some business course (after a "heated" debate with amber, with words like, wrong i chop my head off and stuffs like that... i finally decided. fine! i shall change it. laura ain't from RP. haha... amber... u never fail to make me laugh sia.. but stop being so mean to me lah!!!!! haha... kidding) luckily she was there to help amber and i. else both of us going to have a hard time with the guests.. gotta know another new fren who was in charge of the phone sms registration, meng hua. the day ended with us taking photos while waiting for the bus as the bus came late. 1hour late. resulting in all of us reaching home around 8plus. *tired.

thursday was the same. talked to a couple more people. had lunch with amber and daphne because meng hua helped us to mend the booth. (rule: only one person can eat a time). gotta went into the airshow site for awhile to have a look before catching the bus. my first thought was, awesome. i like the wide space, the wind and the airbus. it was hugh. really really hugh. i seemed so so tiny standing beside it.. Zzzz...

friday, the last day working at the airshow. felt kinda sad and feeling really sleepy that i kept saying good afternoon when it was just only 8am!! haha.. super blur. =p the crowd that day was even worst than the first 3 days. which was not what amber and i predicted. it was that much people that the guest have to queue out of the registration hall. thus, some of us got into trouble with the people as they complained that we were slow and stuffs like that.. Zzzz... =.= we were trying our best. didnt want them to miss their air display show either. but can't help it right. anyway, *brush it off*. we only managed to have our lunch around 2 plus. luckily once again, someone helped us mend the booth - the 九零年 guy (cos he is born in 1990) so that all 3 of us could have lunch together. =) after lunch, started to pack up and stuffs. went into the airshow site the very last minute to take some photos of the planes and such.

left the place rather happily cos of... haha.. anyway, really enjoyed the whole airshow event. love the morning weather at the changi exhibition, (the breeze, the fresh air) despite having to wake up when the sky is still dark. the peak period that made the whole day seems to past faster. knowing those people working there, whom are mostly younger than i do.. making me feel so much older. haha. able to look at the planes........... though i am not a pro in the different kind of planes. =) and lastly, having my 2 meany beany pals with me... solid 1 and solid 2!! who never fails to make fun of me. *their latest craze: asking me to pronounce - heal, heel, whale, wheel!! =.= haha..
